Event Details

Your entry includes a finisher's medal, technical t-shirt, event giveaway, chip-timed results, downloadable certificate, and water stations on the course and at the finish.

The race starts at 11:30 on Sunday 14 March 2027 on Bught Road (IV3 5SS).

Our aim is to support every participant, whatever their pace, from start to finish and provide the best possible experience.

The half marathon starts at 11:30 and the cut-off time is 15:00 (3 hours 30 minutes). In the interests of safety and to minimise disruption to local residents, some sections of the course begin reopening after 13:30. Prior to road sections reopening, marshals will guide participants onto the pavement to continue safely to the finish.

Yes, you can run for any charity of your choice or support one of our official charity partners.

Please contact your chosen charity directly for details.

On the course

There are four water stations located at 3, 6, 9 and 11.5 miles, plus water at the finish. There is also one HIGH5 gel station on the route.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, all water stations will use paper cups instead of plastic bottles to reduce single-use plastic and minimise water waste.

Only bone conduction headphones are permitted. Standard headphones or earbuds are not allowed.

No. Cyclists are not permitted on the route for safety reasons.

We're sorry, but there isn't a wheelchair category within the Half Marathon due to safety and logistical reasons. Wheelchair participants are welcome to enter the Inverness 5K, which takes place on the same day and follows a more suitable route.

If you require a support runner, please let us know.

Yes, if required for a medical condition or disability. Support runners can apply for a complimentary place. Please contact us.
